Visitors can easily find their way to the action at the Central European Rally – the event supports them with information online, via an app and in printed form as a programme.

There is just a week to go before the start of the Central European Rally – the penultimate round of the FIA World Rally Championship (17–20 October 2024), which will also see the title decision come down to the wire. Those who want to follow the battle between world championship leader Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) and his team-mate Ott Tänak and Toyota spearhead Sébastien Ogier will have access to a wide range of information sources. The FIA WRC and the CER organisers are ensuring that both visitors at the event and fans at home are always kept up to date. Mobile apps are helping fans find their way to over 40 spectator points – and conveniently carpool to the event. The central source of information for this is the event homepage, which offers news and visitor information at centraleuropeanrally.eu and also provides links to all other important offers.

On the internet: information, news and intermediate results always up to date

At centraleuropeanrally.eu, the official homepage not only offers all important information for visitors in the run-up to the CER, such as timetables, starter lists, spectator points and ticket pre-sales. During the event, statements from the drivers, interim reports, photo galleries and lists of results will also be available here. A special focus is also on the local drivers competing in the Rally2 and Rally3 vehicles. Results and standings in real time, as well as all the latest news and information about the WRC, can also be found on the fiawrc.com homepage.

Programme booklet available from 5 euros

The event's programme booklet is traditionally a popular information medium for many fans. It offers site plans and information on all spectator points and stages, as well as a lot of additional information about the Central European Rally and the World Rally Championship. The programme booklet is available for 5 euros. It is available at the spectator points of the special stages, at the merchandising stand in the service park, at the ticket pick-ups in Bad Griesbach and Klatovy, and at participating MaierKorduletsch petrol stations in the event area.

The ‘TW Sportsoft’ app for mobile devices contains all the important information, maps and intermediate standings – always up to date and always quickly accessible in a compact form.

Mobile apps with a greatprize draw

The Central European Rally supports fans in the rally region with two powerful information sources. The organisers are particularly keen to encourage carpooling, as this relieves the pressure on the transport infrastructure, reduces the event's carbon footprint and also has a positive effect on the parking situation. The perfect tool for this is the ADAC Pendlernetz app, which is available for free for mobile phones or tablets. The FIA presented the app with its environmental award last year. Those who network with other visitors and form carpools have the chance to win attractive prizes: every day, winners are drawn from among the users, who are informed directly via the app. The lottery pot includes travel vouchers, free tickets for the CER 2025 and petrol vouchers. The TW Sportsoft app is also a great source of information for visitors. It is also available for all major end devices free of charge and offers site plans and detailed information on all spectator points. It also provides direct links to the ADAC commuter network app, ticket information and much more.

Follow me: Central European Rally on social media

The latest action from the WRC rally through Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic will also be available to watch on social media in the form of highlight clips and news flashes. The Central European Rally is on Facebook(facebook.com/wrccer) and on Instagram (instagram.com/cerwrc). You can also follow it on Tik Tok at tiktok.com/@cerwrc. The same applies to the FIA WRC, which also reports extensively on the three platforms Facebook (facebook.com/WorldRally), Instagram (instagram.com/officialwrc) and Tik Tok (tiktok.com/@wrc).

Visitors and those at home can follow the action of the WRC. Highlights can be found on YouTube, for example. And the WRC's own channel, rally.tv, will be reporting live and in full.

All the action as a stream or in highlight videos

The WRC provides extensive live coverage in a stream and a bulging video archive full of action-packed films on its streaming platform rally.tv. The virtual pay-TV channel will, of course, also provide extensive and full-length coverage of the Central European Rally. Access is available for as little as €12.99 (monthly pass). Highlights of the four days of rallying will also be available for free on the WRC YouTube channel, which can be found at www.youtube.com/@wrc.
